About Me
Hailing from Tallahassee Florida, Nicole Estrella Wright graduated with a B.F.A in Musical Theatre from Lee's McRae Performing Arts College and a B.S from Florida State University in Family and Child Science with a minor in Marriage and Family Therapy. She also holds a Master's of Fine Arts in Directing and Theatre Pedagogy. Nicole resides in Los Angeles as a professional Piano, Acting and Vocal Instructor as well as an accomplished Director. She started her own music and theatre company (N.E.W Music Co.) in Tallahassee teaching piano/voice/acting at the young age of 20 and has been teaching professionally for 16 years! Some of her students have gone on to be piano and voice majors earning prestigious scholarships for some of the top music schools in the country. Nicole has Directed over 30 shows including Main Stage Productions outside of Children's Theatre. Other shows she has directed include: "The Fantasticks," "Beauty and the Beast," "Once on This Island" and "Legally Blonde the Musical." Nicole has an extensive performing resume as well. Some of her performances in theatre include; "Elle Woods" in Legally Blonde the Musical, "Lina Lamont" in Singing in the Rain, "Peter" in Peter Pan, and "Hope Harcourt" in Anything Goes. She currently performs as a professional vocalist, previously with accomplished artists such as Josh Groban, Loren Allred, and many more. When teaching, Nicole's number one priority is to always make sure your child is having fun in a safe and secured environment while learning and developing a new skill!
